Jakarta (ANTARA) - The wife and two children of drug lord Erwin Iskandar alias Koko Erwin arrived at the Bareskrim Polri building in Jakarta on Friday to undergo examination related to money laundering offences (TPPU) from the illicit circulation of narcotics carried out by Koko Erwin.

Based on ANTARA observations, a vehicle from the Bareskrim Polri Narcotics Crime Directorate carrying the three suspects arrived at the Awaloedin Djamin Building, Bareskrim Polri, around 5:20 PM WIB.

The first suspect to exit the vehicle was VVP, Koko Erwin’s wife. As she was escorted to the lift, she covered her face to avoid the media.

The second suspect to exit was HSI, Koko Erwin’s child. He appeared to be wearing a black jacket and a mask. While walking, he kept his head down.

The last suspect to exit was CA, Koko Erwin’s child. His hands were not handcuffed, and he only looked down while walking.

Previously, the three suspects were arrested in Sumbawa Regency and Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara Province. For the examination, they were brought to the Bareskrim Polri building in Jakarta.

Koko Erwin is a drug lord designated as a suspect in an alleged narcotics circulation case. He is suspected of being involved in the narcotics case of former Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro.

Erwin’s involvement was uncovered from the development of the narcotics abuse and circulation case in the jurisdiction of the West Nusa Tenggara Police, which ensnared former Head of the Bima City Police Narcotics Unit AKP Malaungi.

Erwin is suspected of having a role in a syndicate network for drug trade and circulation and is linked to alleged large-scale fund flows related to payments to rogue personnel.

Those payments were intended to obtain protection so that the narcotics circulation could proceed without hindrance in the Bima City area, West Nusa Tenggara.
