WIC Surabaya to hold annual bazaar

SURABAYA: The Surabaya branch of the Women's International
Club will hold a charity bazaar on Nov. 8.

The event, entitled the 'WIC Annual Bazaar', was part of
Surabaya WIC's routine social activities, WIC Surabaya
chairperson Poplin J. Kusuma said here on Thursday.

"As we have done in previous years, we will mobilize and raise
funds for our 'Peduli Sosial dan Kemanusiaan' (Social and
Humanitarian Care) program," Poplin said.

She added that the money raised by the bazaar would be
distributed to needy people, especially for educational purposes.

The annual bazaar will feature 70 stands selling various
products, including food.

She said the entry fee would be Rp 2,000.

WIC Surabaya members include Americans, Britons, Australians,
Germans, Indians, Koreans, Japanese and Indonesians. --Antara
