Why Indomobil Emotor QT Can Be Priced at IDR 15 Million

Jakarta — Indomobil Emotor recently launched its latest electric motorcycle, the QT and QT Pro models.

The QT is Indomobil Emotor’s most affordable electric motorcycle. The standard variant with a single battery is priced from IDR 15 million on the road (OTR) in the Jakarta metropolitan area.

“So, the QT is targeted more towards short-distance transportation. For schoolchildren, for shopping at markets, and so on. Naturally, for short-distance transportation, the price must be affordable,” a company representative said.

“Therefore, with a single battery and a relatively smaller design compared to its predecessors or previous products, it will influence the price to make it more affordable,” the representative added.

Despite the affordable price tag, Indomobil Emotor continues to emphasise quality aspects, particularly the chassis design, which has been adapted to Indonesian road conditions.

“However, of course we adapt it to its dimensions,” the representative noted.

Meanwhile, to keep the selling price down, several advanced features typically available in other models have been omitted from the QT.

“Yes, because we truly designed it ourselves, truly custom-made. The QT is indeed made specially. The price is also made special, very special,” the representative said.
