Singapore (ANTARA) - Disney’s team explains why guests must follow dining-room rotation at every dinner aboard the Disney Adventure cruise ship. “We want the experience guests feel to be truly special,” said Daniel Cowan, Director of Operations and Culinary Integration at Disney Cruise Line, during a media panel in Singapore on Saturday. Daniel explained that the concept of rotating dining rooms for dinner has existed for years on all Disney ships. This is intended so that all guests can sample a variety of dishes with nuances from each room. The decor and ambience in each restaurant also differ according to the character presented inside. The concept, he said, is an integral part of the Disney sailing experience across all its ships. Guests taking part in the rotation will not only taste new dishes but also build connections and shared enjoyment with the team serving at the tables. The team, according to Daniel, has good memories and tastes for entertainment, so an emotional connection with guests or families will be easier to establish. “So there will be many good memories, many good entertainments, and I think they (guests) will seek the same service team when they want to ask about something,” he said. Daniel also said he was very happy to bring the concept aboard and hopes everyone can enjoy it. The voyage will continue with an inaugural season offering three- and four-night sailings at sea. Disney Adventure is part of a multi-year expansion of the Disney Cruise Line fleet that has earned various awards, currently consisting of eight ships, with five additional ships planned to join by 2031. On board, there are several restaurants available for dinner including Navigator’s Club, Animator’s Panel and Pixar Market Restaurant which can be accessed free of charge by all guests who have a table number in the “Disney Cruise Navigator” app. There are other restaurant options such as Mike and Sulley’s Flavours of Asia and Palo Trattoria, but dining there requires reservations and carries a charge.
