Whoosh ticket sales reach 145,000 during Eid holiday period: KCIC

She stated that it indicates an increase in sales during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period compared to normal days.

In a press release received in Jakarta on Friday, 145,000 ticket sales were recorded as of today, at 8:00 a.m. WIB.

“The total number of tickets sold has reached approximately 145,000 for the period March 13-30, 2026,” it stated.

According to her, PT. KCIC has sold 10,000 Whoosh tickets as of today alone, and it is expected to continue to grow, reaching 18,000 tickets.

To anticipate the increasing number of passengers, PT. KCIC has strengthened its security system at each Whoosh train station, deploying 551 personnel, including KCIC security officers, National Armed Forces (TNI), and National Police (Polri).

In addition, KCIC has deployed 309 internal post officers at all Whoosh stations, the Ministry of Transportation’s Central Post, and various Whoosh operational work areas to ensure passenger safety and comfort.

She also urged the public to get Whoosh tickets through official channels to receive maximum service.

“KCIC urges the public to immediately book Whoosh tickets, particularly through the Whoosh app, ticket.kcic.co.id, and partner apps such as Access by KAI, Livin’ by Mandiri, BRImo, Wondr by BNI, Tiket.com, Traveloka, and Trip.com, to secure your desired travel schedule,” she said.
