JAKARTA — KCIC has confirmed that Whoosh high-speed rail services will resume normal operations to support increased public mobility during the 2026 Eid transport season. General Manager Corporate Secretary KCIC Eva Chairunisa announced that Whoosh will operate 62 journeys per day beginning 14 March 2026.

“Previously, the schedule was adjusted to 42 services daily to support the relocation of high-voltage power transmission cables (SUTT) running across Whoosh’s operational route,” Eva stated in a written statement in Jakarta on Friday (13 March 2026).

Eva reported that the initial stages of the SUTT cable relocation work running across Whoosh’s operational corridor have progressed safely and smoothly, enabling the service to gradually increase its operational capacity. With Whoosh returning to normal operations on 14 March, she said, the first and last departure times will also revert to their original schedule.

“From 14 March 2026, Whoosh services will resume full operations with a total of 62 journeys per day to meet public mobility needs, especially ahead of the Eid transport season,” Eva added.

Eva explained that the first service from Halim Station will depart at 06:25 Western Indonesia Time, with the final service at 21:25. From Tegalluar Summarecon Station, the first service will depart at 06:05 and the last at 21:05.

Eva outlined that the SUTT cable relocation work across Whoosh’s operational route will be conducted in phases, with several initial stages already completed safely and smoothly. Subsequent work is planned to resume after the Eid transport season concludes, with further updates on the work phases to be communicated to the public on a regular basis.

“KCIC extends its gratitude for public support during the operational adjustment period. Information regarding the continuation of SUTT cable relocation work and any further operational adjustments will be communicated regularly to the public,” Eva said.
