JAKARTA – KCIC has launched a programme providing complimentary iftar meals to Whoosh passengers throughout the month of Ramadhan. General Manager Corporate Secretary of KCIC Eva Chairunisa announced that the programme will run until the final day of Ramadhan across all Whoosh stations: Halim, Karawang, Padalarang, and Tegalluar Summarecon.

“Overall, KCIC has prepared more than 13,000 complimentary iftar packages for Whoosh passengers during this period,” Eva stated in a written statement in Jakarta on Saturday, 14 March 2026.

Eva explained that each iftar package contains mineral water, dates, and light snacks and beverages that passengers can consume when breaking their fast. More than 10,000 packages are being distributed in station areas to passengers travelling on afternoon departure schedules at each station.

“Meanwhile, the remaining 3,000 packages are available in the VIP Lounge exclusively for passengers with First Class and Business Class tickets,” Eva said.

According to Eva, the programme has been introduced to assist passengers observing the Ramadhan fast, enabling them to break their fast comfortably whilst travelling on Whoosh. Through this initiative, KCIC aims to ensure Whoosh passengers continue to enjoy a comfortable journey during Ramadhan.

“Given Whoosh’s short travel time, passengers can maintain their mobility whilst properly observing their fasting obligations,” Eva added.

As the final week of Ramadhan approaches, Eva noted that KCIC has begun observing an increase in passenger departures at several Whoosh stations. This trend indicates rising public mobility as the Lebaran (Eid) holiday period approaches.

“KCIC is ensuring readiness of operational services, station facilities, and passenger services to maintain safe, comfortable, and smooth travel amid the rising volume of passengers during this period,” Eva concluded.
