Ticket sales for the Whoosh high-speed train have continued to rise during the peak of the Pancasila holiday return migration. As of 10:00 WIB on Monday, 1 June 2026, over 12,000 tickets had been sold, with passenger numbers expected to exceed 21,000 by the end of operations.

Eva Chairunisa, General Manager of Corporate Secretary at KCIC, stated that occupancy rates for journeys from Bandung to Jakarta between 10:00 WIB and the afternoon have exceeded 70%. KCIC noted that 78% of today’s total ticket sales were for Bandung to Jakarta routes.

Eva urged passengers planning return trips to book tickets online immediately, as seat occupancy continues to rise, particularly during popular afternoon and evening schedules. ‘Passengers are advised to book Whoosh tickets promptly via online sales channels,’ she said.

Tickets can be purchased through official channels including the Whoosh app, ticket.kcic.co.id, Access by KAI, Livin’ by Mandiri, BRImo, Wondr by BNI, Tiket.com, Traveloka, and Trip.com.

To accommodate the surge in passenger volume during the return migration period, KCIC has added six extra services, increasing daily operations from 62 to 68 trips. These additional services provide approximately 3,600 seats per day, bringing the total daily capacity of Whoosh to around 40,000 seats.

The schedule additions have also extended operating hours for services originating from Bandung and surrounding areas. The new schedules include:

Tegalluar Summarecon – Halim

Padalarang – Halim

KA Feeder Bandung – Padalarang
