Whoosh Offers 10% Discount for Families – Booking Guide

Passengers on the Whoosh high-speed train can enjoy a 10% ticket discount for family groups. The promotion applies to groups of at least 10 passengers booking round-trip tickets.

‘We encourage the public to take advantage of this group promotion and book early to secure travel schedules that meet their needs during the long weekend period,’ said Eva Chairunisa, General Manager of Corporate Secretary at Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC), in a statement on Tuesday (26 May 2026).

Eva added that the Whoosh ticket discount is available during the May 2026 long weekend for family travel, whether for tourism, family visits, or other activities in Bandung or Jakarta.

‘Using Whoosh shortens travel time, avoids traffic, and connects seamlessly with other transport modes and destinations,’ she said.

In addition to special pricing, the group booking service offers various conveniences for customers.

Customers can enjoy priority seating for adjacent seats and a more straightforward, efficient booking process.

The Whoosh high-speed train schedule has been extended until 22:25 WIB, up from the previous 21:25 WIB.

This schedule extension applies specifically during the Idul Adha long weekend period on Wednesday (27 May 2026) and Monday (1 June 2026).

Six additional daily trips have been added, consisting of three trips between Halim and Tegalluar Summarecon, and three in the opposite direction.

KCIC has provided an additional 3,606 seats per day, bringing the total daily seating capacity to 40,868 during the extended schedule period.

With this addition, the number of daily Whoosh trips increases from the usual 62 to 68 per day.

Whoosh will operate later, with the final departure from Jakarta Halim Station at 22:25 WIB.
