Whoosh high-speed train available until late at night, last departure at 22:25 WIB
KOMPAS.com - Operational Whoosh high-speed train service has been extended into the evening, with the last departure at 22:25 WIB. Previously, the last departure was only at 21:25 WIB.
The extension of the Whoosh schedule by Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) applies specifically to the long weekend period for Idul Adha in mid-2026 and early June 2026, namely Tuesday 26 May 2026 and Monday 1 June 2026.
“During long holidays, public interest in using Whoosh generally rises, so KCIC increases the number of trips to give the public more flexible schedules, including late-night journeys,” said Eva Chairunisa, General Manager Corporate Secretary of KCIC, in an official statement on Thursday 21 May 2026.
Whoosh will operate later at night with the last departure from Halim Station, East Jakarta at 22:25 WIB.
Tickets for the additional Whoosh journeys can be purchased from Wednesday 20 May 2026 via KCIC’s official channels: the Whoosh app and ticket.kcic.co.id.
There are also ticket counters and vending machines at the stations, partner apps such as Access by KAI, Livin’ by Mandiri, BRImo, Wondr by BNI, Tiket.com, Traveloka, and Trip.com.
KCIC provides an additional 3,606 seats per day, bringing total available seating capacity to 40,868 seats per day during the additional schedule period.

To support connectivity to and from Bandung, each Whoosh schedule has been integrated with the Feeder Train timetable to and from Bandung Station and Cimahi Station.
This integration is designed to make journeys to and from central Bandung and its surroundings easier, more comfortable, and better planned.
Eva invites the public who have planned travel for the long weekend to purchase tickets earlier through KCIC’s official channels, especially for popular schedules that tend to fill up quickly during holiday periods.
“Through this addition of trips, KCIC wants to ensure the public has more departure time options, including late-night schedules,” Eva said.
