Whoosh Feeder Train Waiting Area at Bandung Station to Relocate from 10 March 2026
Whoosh high-speed train passengers should take note. Starting Tuesday, 10 March 2026, access to and the waiting area for the Feeder Train (KA Feeder) Whoosh service at Bandung Station will relocate to a new area on the western side of the station, precisely in front of the Al Mu’min Mosque.
Whoosh passengers intending to use the KA Feeder to Padalarang Station can access the new location via the North Gate of Bandung Station from Kebon Kawung Street.
The relocation of access and waiting area for the Whoosh KA Feeder at Bandung Station will take effect from the first scheduled feeder train departure from Bandung Station at 07.16 Western Indonesian Time, with the Whoosh train departing Padalarang at 07.53 bound for Halim.
However, during a socialisation period through the end of March 2026, access via the southern side of the station will remain available to assist passengers in adjusting to the new area.
General Manager Corporate Secretary of Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) Eva Chairunisa urged passengers to adapt to the new waiting area access and arrive early to ensure smooth travel to the train.
This is because the feeder train schedule has been coordinated with Whoosh departures from Padalarang Station.
“We urge passengers to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled KA Feeder departure. This is because the platform doors will close five minutes before departure,” Eva said.
To facilitate Whoosh passengers, KCIC together with KAI will install signage and directional markers at several strategic points within Bandung Station and deploy additional staff during the transition period.
This includes stationing staff at the old waiting area to direct passengers to the new area so that the access relocation proceeds in an orderly manner and passenger travel remains smooth.
With this arrangement, feeder train waiting and boarding activities will be centralised in the new area, resulting in more organised passenger flow.
“The access relocation has been implemented to create more orderly, safe, and efficient passenger movement. With this centralised access, passenger flow becomes more organised and can enhance the comfort of integrating the Feeder Train with the Whoosh high-speed train,” Eva concluded.
