Whoosh Extends Night-Time Schedule to 22:25 WIB During Idul Adha Long Weekend

Whoosh, the high-speed rail operator, will extend its travel schedule during the Idul Adha long weekend in 2026. One adjustment is to extend operating hours into the night, with the last departure from Halim Station at 22:25 WIB. ‘Through this addition, KCIC aims to give the public more departure-time options, including nocturnal services,’ said Eva Chairunisa, General Manager Corporate Secretary of KCIC, on Friday, 22 May 2026.

These services will apply on 26 May and 1 June 2026 as a precaution against potential increases in mobility during the long holiday. With this adjustment, passengers have more flexible travel options, particularly for night travel. Eva said the additions are to accommodate rising demand during long holidays. ‘During long holidays, public interest in using Whoosh generally increases,’ Eva added.

In addition to extending operating hours, KCIC will also raise the total number of services from the normal 62 per day to 68 per day during the period. The increase comprises six additional services per day, namely three Halim–Tegalluar Summarecon services and three Tegalluar Summarecon–Halim services. KCIC provides 3,606 additional seats per day, bringing total seating capacity to 40,868 seats per day during the period of the timetable adjustment.

KCIC urged travellers who have planned journeys for the long weekend to purchase tickets early through official channels, particularly for services that are likely to fill up quickly.
