The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) has announced that 16 private-scope Electronic System Providers (PSE) have completed their registration in accordance with applicable regulations. Notable platforms among those compliant include PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia (Whoosh) and PT Transportasi Jakarta (TransJakarta).
Previously, Komdigi had issued letters to 25 PSEs regarding their obligation to register their platforms. The 16 platforms that have fulfilled this obligation are:

Komdigi also stated that two PSEs have initiated communication and committed to registering: PT Pelita Air Service and Shopify Inc.
Meanwhile, seven PSEs have yet to meet their registration obligations. Komdigi has issued compliance warning letters to these platforms.
The Director General of Digital Space Supervision, Alexander Sabar, stated that private-scope PSEs operating in Indonesia are required to register. The warning letters serve as an opportunity to fulfil these obligations before enforcement measures are taken.
“We request all private-scope PSEs to complete their registration immediately so that the public can obtain legal certainty regarding the digital services they use,” Alexander said, as quoted in an official statement on Monday (28/09/2026).
If registration is not completed by 1 October 2026, Komdigi will proceed with law enforcement measures, which include disconnecting access to the electronic systems.
He also added that Komdigi is open to clarifications if any PSE is experiencing technical difficulties or other obstacles in the registration process.
