Who Will Permanently Replace Jampidsus Febri Adriansyah? Komjak Says It Has Shortlisted 10 Names
The Indonesian Prosecutorial Commission (Komjak) believes a definitive Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) needs to be appointed immediately at the Attorney General’s Office following Febrie Adriansyah’s resignation. Komjak Chairman Pujiyono Suwadi explained that the appointment of Rudi Margono as Acting Jampidsus was appropriate to fill the tactical requirement. However, for strategic needs, he assessed that a permanent Jampidsus is required to replace Febrie Adriansyah. He revealed that Komjak has inventoried names suitable to become the next Jampidsus, though he did not disclose the details. ‘We have shortlisted at least 10 names,’ he said on Sunday (12/7/2026). In selecting these names, he stated that Komjak prioritises several criteria, including meeting administrative requirements, professionalism, and integrity. These names will subsequently be proposed by Komjak to the Attorney General.
