Who Will Jokowi Meet During His Three-Day Visit to Lampung?

Former Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to visit Lampung Province at the end of June 2026. The political safari is being organised by the Brigade Rakyat Nusantara (BRN) and the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI).

Relly Reagen, Chairman of BRN, stated that Jokowi will meet with residents in Bandar Lampung, Central Lampung, East Lampung, and Pringsewu. “There will be small business owners, Islamic boarding schools, young people, farmers, and others,” Relly said after meeting Jokowi at his residence in Sumber, Solo, Central Java, on Monday (15/6).

According to Relly, many people in Lampung have felt the benefits of development during Jokowi’s presidency. They wish to meet directly with the father of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. “So the invitation came from the community, from local figures. We merely conveyed it to him,” he said.

Relly added that preparations for Jokowi’s visit to Lampung are well underway. “Preparations are mature, location permits are ready. It’s about 80 percent complete,” he said. Jokowi is scheduled to be in Lampung from 26 to 28 June 2026.
