Who is Agustina Arumsari, the Anti-Corruption Auditor Appointed as Deputy Head of BGN?
The name Agustina Arumsari has come into the spotlight following President Prabowo Subianto’s appointment of her as the Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN). In this new role, Agustina will assist the newly appointed Head of BGN, Nanik S. Deyang, in overseeing various strategic government programmes, including the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) initiative.
Agustina’s appointment was announced by the Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, alongside the appointment of Major General TNI Trenggono as another Deputy Head of the BGN. Her inclusion in the leadership of the National Nutrition Agency is regarded as a significant step by the government to strengthen governance, oversight, and financial accountability in the implementation of programmes managed by the BGN.
Her extensive background in auditing, investigation, and state financial oversight is one of the primary reasons she has been entrusted with this strategic position.
A Decades-Long Career at BPKP
Prior to her appointment as Deputy Head of the BGN, Agustina Arumsari served as the Deputy Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP). She was inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto on 19 February 2025 to assist the Head of BPKP, Muhammad Yusuf Ateh.
Agustina’s career at BPKP has been extensive. She began her service as a Middle-level Financial and Development Supervisory Assistant at the BPKP Representative Office in West Sumatra Province. Over time, her career progressed through several strategic positions within the BPKP environment, including:
Director of Investigation for State-Owned Enterprises and Regional-Owned Enterprises (2017)
Director of Investigation III (2019)
Deputy Head of BPKP for Investigation (2020)
Deputy Head of BPKP (2025)
This long-standing experience has established Agustina as a highly competent official in government internal oversight, particularly in the fields of investigative auditing and state financial governance.
From STAN Graduate to Master of Laws at UI
In terms of education, Agustina possesses a background closely linked to state finance and oversight. She completed a Diploma III at the State Accounting College (STAN) in 1992 and subsequently earned a Diploma IV from the same institution in 1998.
