WHO Chief Thanks Indonesia for Rp 536 Billion Donation: President Prabowo's Commitment

World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has expressed his gratitude to the Indonesian government for a contribution of US$30 million, equivalent to Rp 536.85 billion. The donation was made as part of President Prabowo Subianto’s commitment to the WHO Investment Round.

Tedros conveyed his thanks during a meeting with Indonesian Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin at the WHO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. “This is a significant step in strengthening our partnership and Indonesia’s leadership in global health,” Tedros stated.

During the meeting, the two leaders also discussed ongoing reforms to the global health architecture and explored ways to deepen collaboration through the WHO Innovation Centre.
