Washington (ANTARA) - The White House is attempting to arrange a meeting in Pakistan this weekend to discuss a way out of the United States (US)-Israel war with Iran, according to a CNN report on Wednesday (25/3), citing two senior US officials.

According to the current plan, US Vice President JD Vance is likely to visit Pakistan for the potential talks, the report stated.

In addition to Pakistan, Turkey has also emerged as a potential location for the negotiations, according to the report.

Israel is concerned that the US may declare a one-month ceasefire to facilitate negotiations with Iran, two Israeli sources told CNN on Wednesday.

There are no talks or negotiations between Iran and the US, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said in an interview with India Today on the same Wednesday.

“No one can trust US diplomacy,” Baghaei said, adding that Iran has very bad experiences with US diplomacy, as seen in US attacks during past negotiations on the nuclear issue.
