Whip Pink case: YouTuber's personal assistant purchases 20 laughing gas canisters

Jakarta, VIVA – Investigators from the Bareskrim Police Narcotics Crime Directorate are continuing to unravel the supply chain of nitrous oxide (N2O) branded Whip Pink, which has recently been linked to several social media figures. A woman identified as CD (29), who works as a personal assistant to a YouTuber in Jakarta, was questioned after allegedly purchasing 20 Whip Pink canisters for consumption with friends and staff. Head of Sub-directorate III of the Narcotics Crime Directorate, Police Commissioner Zulkarnain Harahap, stated CD attended the summons on 22 May 2026, having bought the gas in 640g and 950g canisters in late 2025 and early 2026. Police stated the substance was not used solely by CD but shared with friends and staff. CD reportedly sourced the product via an internet search for ‘Whip Cream’, which directed her to a seller via WhatsApp. She then filled out an order form, transferred funds via mobile banking, and received delivery within an hour. Orders were placed through PT Suplaindo Sukses Sejahtera (PT SSS). During questioning, CD admitted inhaling the gas using a nozzle, reporting dizziness and closing her eyes. Previously, Bareskrim police arrested female social media influencer ZNM and male YouTuber RV after they ignored two summonses without explanation. A warrant was issued for their arrest on 29 May 2026, Police Commissioner Harahap said.
