Whip Pink Case: Bareskrim to Issue Warrant for Compulsory Attendance of Influencer
The Directorate of Narcotics Crimes (Dittipidnarkoba) under Bareskrim Polri will issue warrants for the compulsory attendance of social media influencer ZNM and two others after they failed to appear for questioning as witnesses. ‘Investigators will issue warrants for compulsory attendance for RV, APG, and ZNM after their continued failure to comply with summonses without explanation,’ stated Kombes Pol. Zulkarnain Harahap, head of Sub-directorate III at Dittipidnarkoba, to journalists in Jakarta on Friday. Two witnesses, CD and AM, have complied with the summons. CD appeared on 22 May, while AM attended on Friday. Previously, Bareskrim Polri’s Directorate of Narcotics Crimes summoned five individuals as witnesses in the Whip Pink gas producer case: RV (29, North Jakarta), AM (29, Tangerang), CD (29, Jakarta), APG (21, Makassar), and ZNM (20, Makassar). The questioning aims to investigate the alleged use of Whip Pink by the five individuals. In April 2026, Bareskrim Polri’s Directorate of Narcotics Crimes uncovered a factory producing Whip Pink N2O gas in Jakarta. Following the interrogation of nine detained witnesses, PT SSS, the producer, lacks legal permits and BPOM distribution licenses for the production and sale of Whip Pink N2O gas. Additionally, the owners of the production site and distribution warehouses are AH, SC, and JH. Whip Pink warehouses are located across 10 cities, with 16 storage points from Jakarta, Yogyakarta, to Lombok. Whip Pink is a small gas canister brand containing nitrous oxide (N2O), also known as ‘laughing gas’.
