mostly on the economy, this edition presents articles on
politics, security and legal affairs. The articles are written
by: Bantarto Bandoro, editor of the Indonesian Quarterly
published by the Centre for Strategic and International Studies
(CSIS); Chusnul Mar'iyah, member of the National Election
Commission (KPU); Ibrahim Assegaf, managing director of PT
Justika Siar Publika; M. Riefqi Muna, executive director of the
RIDEP Institute; Satya Arinanto, lecturer and vice dean of the
School of Law, University of Indonesia; Smita Notosusanto,
executive director of the Center for Electoral Reform (Cetro);
and Philips J. Vermonte, researcher at the Department of
International Relations at CSIS.
Two additional feature articles on Page 19 focus on Rufriadi,
head of the Aceh branch of the Institute of Legal Aid (LBH), and
on a group of Christian and Muslim women who care for peace in
Maluku. The two features are written by The Jakarta Post's
