Putri Candrawathi’s name has once again drawn public attention after a recent post on her official Instagram account went viral. The wife of former National Police Propam Division head Ferdy Sambo is known to still be serving her sentence at Tangerang Class IIA Correctional Institution in Banten.
Although behind bars, the latest news about Putri shows that she continues to follow important moments in her family’s life, particularly the achievements of her son, Tribrata Putra Sambo.
Public attention focused on a post congratulating Tribrata Putra Sambo on his graduation from the Police Academy (Akpol). The message was shared via Putri Candrawathi’s official Instagram account and has become one of the latest pieces of news about her life while serving her sentence.
Besides actively following her family’s developments, Putri has reportedly been involved in various rehabilitation activities inside the prison. One of these was initiating entrepreneurship training for female inmates, ranging from bread-making to training in making chicken noodle soup with wontons and meatball noodles, to serve as provisions for after their release.
In the recent post, Putri Candrawathi’s Instagram account offered congratulations to her son, who has completed his education at the Police Academy.
“Congratulations on Mas Brata’s graduation from the Police Academy. May this achievement be the beginning of a career of service full of integrity, honour, and dedication to the nation and state,” read the post on Instagram, Thursday, 16 July 2026.
The message was accompanied by a prayer that Tribrata would continue to move forward with spirit and remain the pride of his family. “Keep moving forward with enthusiasm, humility, and always be the pride of the family.”
Not only that, another post carried a message depicting the family’s solidarity amid the situation they are facing. The photo caption noted that Tribrata’s siblings were always present at every stage of his educational journey.
“Even though Mama and Papa could not be there in person, their prayers and love have never been absent. Distance only separates the body, not the love that always accompanies every step of their children.”
The post closed with a message about the meaning of a family that continues to support one another in all circumstances. “Family is not only about being together, but about never leaving each other behind,” the post read.
