Where is Bogor's Deputy Mayor Jenal Mutaqin, Absent for Almost Three Weeks?

Bogor’s Deputy Mayor Jenal Mutaqin has been absent from duty for almost three weeks. The Bogor City Secretary (Sekda), Denny Mulyadi, said Mutaqin’s absence was due to illness, but did not specify the condition. He described it as a stomach-related ailment, saying: ‘It is a stomach problem; usually when someone is sick it is gastritis.’ He added: ‘He has returned to work today.’ It is known that Mutaqin was last seen at a mass community service event with the Ministry of Environment on Monday, 16 February 2026. Since Wednesday, 18 February 2026, he has not been seen in public. Typically, the deputy mayor was active in posting content on his private Instagram page, which, according to checks, could not be found. He was also scheduled to attend the opening of the 2026 Tax Payment Week for PBB P2 and Vehicle Tax (PKB) at Bogor City Hall on Wednesday, 4 March 2026. Based on those two agendas, Mutaqin’s name carried a tentative note.
