Nevertheless, many members of the public still lack a detailed understanding of the disbursement schedule, the amount of aid received, and the requirements and methods to obtain it. Confusing and conflicting information often causes bewilderment among the populace.
So, when will the Rp 900,000 BLT Kesra be disbursed in April 2026? Who is eligible to receive it, and how can it be obtained? Read the full explanation below.
Is the Rp 900,000 BLT Kesra Being Disbursed in April 2026?
As of now, there has been no official announcement from the government regarding the disbursement of Rp 900,000 BLT Kesra in April 2026. In fact, some circulating information indicates that this programme will not be continued in 2026. This situation has undoubtedly caused confusion among the public who had heard rumours that the assistance would be disbursed again.
According to Jakarta Lawan Hoaks, BLT Kesra is known to be an assistance programme that only applies in 2025. Meanwhile, based on information from the official website of the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, the assistance scheduled for disbursement in April 2026 consists of regular social aid such as the Family Hope Programme (PKH) and the Sembako Programme.
Referring to Ministerial Decree of the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 239/HUK/2025 on the Distribution of Temporary Direct Cash Assistance for People’s Welfare, BLT Kesra is an additional assistance provided as a follow-up to the directives of the President of the Republic of Indonesia. The regulation explains that this programme is temporary and disbursed during the period of October to December 2025.
However, information stating that BLT Kesra has been officially discontinued in 2026 and fully redirected to regular social aid was also once refuted. Quoted from Komdigi, a letter from the Head of the Public Relations Bureau, Devi Deliani, dated 24 January 2026, refuted the spread information and declared it a hoax.
Thus, as of the writing of this article, there is no certainty whether the Rp 900,000 BLT Kesra will be disbursed again in April 2026. The public is advised to remain cautious of circulating information and to always monitor updates through official government channels, particularly from the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
What is BLT Kesra?
BLT Kesra or Direct Cash Assistance for People’s Welfare is one of the additional assistance programmes launched by the government at the end of 2025. This programme is part of an economic policy package aimed at maintaining national economic stability and enhancing the purchasing power of the public.
Based on information from the website of the State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia, BLT Kesra is designed as a temporary stimulus outside of regular social assistance. This means the aid does not replace existing programmes but serves as an addition to strengthen social protection for the public.
The main target of BLT Kesra is groups of people in deciles 1 to 4 of the Single Social and Economic Data (DITSEN), namely the poor and vulnerable poor categories. This assistance complements social aid programmes that have been distributed through the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, such as the Family Hope Programme (PKH) and sembako assistance that reaches millions of beneficiary families.
Nominal BLT Kesra
Based on Ministerial Decree of the Minister of Social Affairs RI Number 239/HUK/2025, the amount of BLT Kesra provided to the public is Rp 300,000 per month. This assistance is disbursed for three consecutive months, resulting in a total of Rp 900,000 received by each beneficiary family.
The distribution of the assistance is carried out in stages each month, not all at once. This scheme aims to ensure that the aid funds can be utilised more effectively to meet the daily needs of the public, such as food and other essentials.
If this programme is continued in the future, it is likely that the nominal amount will not differ much from the previous scheme. However, such a decision will still depend on government policy and the national economic conditions at that time.
Estimated Disbursement Schedule for BLT Kesra
Looking at the distribution pattern in 2025, BLT Kesra was disbursed from October to December in stages each month with an amount of Rp 300,000 per stage.
If this programme is held again in 2026, it is most likely that the disbursement schedule will follow a similar pattern, namely at the end of the year or when the government requires additional stimulus to maintain public purchasing power. Assistance like BLT Kesra generally does not have a fixed schedule like regular social aid.
Thus, the likelihood of the Rp 900,000 BLT Kesra being disbursed in April 2026 is considered low. In addition to the absence of an official announcement from the Ministry of Social Affairs, April also does not align with the previous distribution pattern.
How to Obtain BLT Kesra
- Registered in DTSEN
The primary requirement to receive BLT Kesra is to be registered in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) or now replaced by DTSEN. This data serves as the main basis for the government in determining who is eligible to receive social assistance.
If not yet registered, the public can propose themselves through the local village or sub-district government.
