Data, which is usually received on the 20th of each month, is now advanced to the 10th.
In line with this, as quoted from detikNews, Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf explained that the PKH distribution for phase II of 2026, which also covers May, begins after 10 April, specifically around the third week of April 2026. This process still considers the readiness of recipient data and the completion of administration before the aid is truly distributed to the public.
Thus, the PKH phase II disbursement for 2026 has been underway since after mid-April, so in May, the assistance continues to be distributed. However, the PKH May 2026 disbursement does not occur on the same date across all regions.

PKH May 2026 Recipients
Based on the official Instagram post from @pusdatinkesos, in phase II of 2026, the number of Program Keluarga Harapan recipients reached 475,821 new Beneficiary Families (KPM) determined through data update processes. This number replaces previous recipients who no longer meet the criteria or have experienced changes in socioeconomic status.

PKH May 2026 Disbursement Scheme

How to Register as a PKH Recipient
To be registered as a PKH recipient, the public must first meet the established criteria, namely being in DTSEN deciles 1-4 and having at least one assistance component such as health, education, or social welfare. This data serves as the main basis in the recipient determination process.
If the requirements are met, registration can be done through the Cek Bansos Application by following these steps:

Log in using a Google account or a registered account.
Select the “Proposal” menu.
Click the “Add Proposal” button to create a new application.
Enter the Family Card Number and ID Number, then click “Check Proposal”.
The system will process and verify the submitted ID data.
If not yet eligible (based on welfare decile), a notification will appear to update the data.
If eligible, options for types of social assistance will appear.
Select PKH as the proposed assistance.
After that, the system will display a notification that the application has been successfully submitted.
The proposed data will be verified and updated accordingly.
