The Hajj season is approaching in a matter of weeks. This is the moment when pilgrims perform the Hajj pilgrimage in the Holy Land during the month of Dhu al-Hijjah. So, when will the 2026 Hajj season take place for Indonesian pilgrims?

Regarding the schedule for the 2026 Hajj implementation, it has been released by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag). This is as contained in the Decision of the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah No. 7 of 2025.

The 2026 Hajj Season is Scheduled for April-July

Based on the Hajj Pilgrimage Travel Plan for 1447 AH/2026 AD, the series of the Hajj season or the 2026 Hajj implementation will take place during April to June. Specifically, with the agenda of pilgrims entering Hajj dormitories on 21 April 2026.

Then, the initial departure of the first wave of Hajj pilgrims will begin on 22 April 2026. Meanwhile, the second wave of Hajj pilgrims will start departing on 7 May 2026.

After that, Hajj pilgrims will begin performing the series of Hajj rituals with the vigil at Arafah on 26 May 2026, Eid al-Adha on 27 May 2026, and the Days of Tashriq on 28-30 May 2026.

Finally, Indonesian Hajj pilgrims will begin to be repatriated on 1 June 2026 for the first wave. Meanwhile, the second wave of Hajj pilgrims will be repatriated starting from 15 June 2026. The entire Hajj season series will end on 1 July 2026.
