Wheelchair-Bound Employer Undergoes Suspect Examination Over Domestic Worker Abuse in Bogor
Police have examined an employer with the initials OAP (37) over the physical abuse of a domestic worker identified as FH (21) in Gunung Putri, Bogor, West Java. The suspect was seen leaving in a wheelchair following the examination.
As observed by reporters at Bogor Police Headquarters on Monday (23/2/2026), the suspect was seen wearing all-black clothing as she emerged from the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA-PPO) building at Bogor Police Station.
OAP was pushed in a wheelchair by several individuals. Her face was covered with a mask and subsequently concealed with black cloth, rendering her unidentifiable.
Not a single word was uttered by the suspect following the examination. She was then taken to the clinic located within Bogor Police Headquarters.
Police explained the current condition of FH following the abuse by her employer OAP. The victim is currently suffering from blood clotting in her ear and requires medical treatment.
“The victim is currently staying at a relative’s home. According to information from her legal counsel, the victim still needs to have her ear examined by a doctor, as there is reportedly still clotted blood inside her ear,” said Head of the PPA-PPO Unit at Bogor Police, Inspector Silfi Adi Putri.
Police have now examined and detained the suspect. The next step will be to compile the case file and submit it to prosecutors.
“For the next stage of the investigation, since we have already carried out the detention, we will automatically proceed with compiling the case file and coordinating with the public prosecutor,” she added.
Police have confirmed that OAP has been detained for the physical abuse of FH in Gunung Putri, Bogor. The detention was carried out following the completion of the examination.
