What Prabowo Will Read at Tomorrow's DPR Plenary Session
President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to attend the 19th plenary meeting of the DPR RI during the Fifth Session of the 2025-2026 Legislative Year at the Parliament Complex in Jakarta on Wednesday, 20 May 2026. This was announced by Deputy Speaker of the DPR RI Saan Mustopa at the parliamentary complex today.
Saan stated that the plenary meeting will agenda the delivery of the Macro Economic Framework and the Core Fiscal Policy (KEM-PPKF). The Head of State will personally present the KEM-PPKF and the State Budget Draft (RAPBN) for the year 2027.
“That is the plan, yes. So, for the delivery of the macroeconomic framework, as well as the core fiscal policy package to be delivered directly by the President,” Saan said on Tuesday, 19 May 2026, quoted by Antara.
According to Saan, Prabowo’s presence tomorrow is the first time a president has directly delivered the KEM-PPKF. In previous years, discussions on this matter were conveyed by the government through a minister.
