What is KUR Perumahan? Definition, Requirements, and How to Obtain It
The government continues to expand access to housing financing, one of which is through the Housing Programme Credit (KPP) or what is starting to be known as housing KUR. This programme, initiated by the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP), is aimed at helping the public and MSME actors in building or renovating houses, while also encouraging the acceleration of the 3 Million Houses Programme. Various facilitations are offered, from expanding the target recipients to more flexible requirements. So, what is housing KUR and what are the requirements? See the explanation below. Secretary General of the Ministry of PKP, Didyk Choiroel, emphasised that KPP has a clear legal basis referring to the Minister of Economy Regulation (Permenko) Number 13 of 2025 and the Minister of PKP Regulation Number 13 of 2025. This means that KPP not only targets individuals, but also business actors operating in the housing sector.
