What a hard lesson to learn

JAKARTA (JP): It was quiet a scene. Three junior high school
students in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, dropped their pants in
the classroom in the presence of their headmaster.

They were not performing a striptease dance but were being
punished after they were caught in the act of urinating in their
classroom for fun.

Principal of SLTP 13 Mataram, Syamsudin Arsyad, told Antara
Wednesday that he was reinforcing the school's rules and teaching
the nasty boys discipline.

"I have often received reports that the boys love pissing on
the classroom walls. At other times, they held their urine in
plastic cups and put them on the table," the irritated Syamsudin
said.

The teachers have long spied on the naughty kids. The pupils
were caught in the act by a deputy principal last Saturday. They
admitted to having urinated in the classroom 10 times each.

The report of the punishment, which the principle swore was
not intended to disgrace the students, embarrassed their parents.
They said their children were "good boys" who love going to
mosque to learn the Koran. (pan)
