WFH Does Not Apply to Heads of SPPG, Nutritionists, and Accountants
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, stated that the work-from-home (WFH) scheme does not apply to heads of Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG), nutritionists, and accountants because it concerns public services. “For SPPG heads, nutrition supervisors, and financial supervisors who carry out duties and functions related to services, strategic operations, security, and other tasks that require physical presence, they will continue to perform their duties at the SPPG,” Dadan said in Jakarta on Friday. He emphasised that units directly linked to public services to support the Free Nutritious Meals Programme (MBG), such as the Main Inspectorate, Deputy for Systems and Governance, Deputy for Provision and Distribution, and Deputy for Monitoring and Supervision, will implement a combined work scheme, namely work from office (WFO) and WFH. “Work units directly interacting with the public, namely the Main Inspectorate, Deputy for Systems and Governance, Deputy for Provision and Distribution, and Deputy for Monitoring and Supervision, will carry out official duties with a WFO and WFH mechanism, each at 50 percent, regulated on Mondays and Fridays,” he said. According to him, the implementation of WFH is being carried out in a measured manner and will not disrupt government administration or public services. This policy takes effect from 10 April 2026 until further notice, with periodic evaluations to ensure effectiveness in the field.
