West Sumatra drafts strategic investment map for labour-intensive development

The West Sumatra provincial government is preparing a strategic investment map in West Sumatra as part of the 2027 Regional Development Work Plan (RKPD), which was discussed at the provincial-level Development Planning Consultation (Musrembang) on Wednesday (8/4) in Padang. The strategic investment map being prepared includes the development of infrastructure and connectivity, maritime development, renewable energy development, and strengthening resilience and tourism, aimed at accelerating development for economic growth and improving community welfare through labour-intensive programmes.
