West Pasaman Regency issues 2,633 permits in first half of 2026

The Government of West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra, through the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP), issued 2,632 various types of permits during the first semester, or the January–June 2026 period.

Head of the West Pasaman Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP), Fadlus Sabi, said in Simpang Empat on Friday that the most common permit issued was the business identification number (NIB), totalling 2,131 permits.

“In addition to NIB, there were also 129 midwife and independent midwife practice permits, 74 IT operational permits and other permits,” he said.

He said his office does not make permit processing difficult. There are no fees for permit processing, and for ordinary permits with complete documentation, the permit will be issued within two hours.

“All permits are free except building approval permits because there is a levy. If a permit requires a survey, it will of course take time and depends on the network,” he said.

His office also implements the Online Single Submission system, abbreviated as OSS.

The system is an information technology-based licensing system that integrates regional and central licensing in order to facilitate business activities in the country.

“We want to make it easier for the public to process permits. We implement a web-based system so that processing is not complicated,” he said.

His office also facilitates investment entering West Pasaman by fulfilling the existing requirements.

During the first semester of 2026, investment realisation reached Rp766.14 billion, against a provincial target of Rp771 billion.

With this achievement, West Pasaman ranked third in West Sumatra, below South Solok Regency and Padang City.
