West Pasaman Government: Free Health Check Programme Reaches 116,866 People

The West Pasaman Regency Government in West Sumatra has recorded that the implementation of the Free Health Check (CKG) Programme up to the first semester of 2026 has reached 116,866 people, or 24.83 per cent, exceeding the set target. The total CKG target for 2026 is 46 per cent of the 470,700 population, while the first-semester target was 23 per cent. This means the achievement for the January-June period surpassed the target, reaching 24.83 per cent, said Head of the West Pasaman Health Office, Gina Alecia. She stated that the CKG Programme, which began in January 2026, is conducted for infants, toddlers, preschool children, schoolchildren, adults, and the elderly. According to her, the CKG for infants aged 0 months has reached 1,818 people or 19.60 per cent, the CKG for toddlers and preschool children aged 1-6 years reached 7,231 people, and the CKG for primary school children reached 9,600 people. Furthermore, the CKG for adults aged 18-59 years reached 90,251 people, and the CKG for the elderly aged 60 years and above reached 12,212 people. To achieve the target, her office is intensifying the implementation of CKG at community health centres in the area, as well as examining residents and providing free medication. In addition, her office has also issued circulars and instructions from the regent and regional secretary regarding support for the CKG implementation to heads of regional apparatus organisations and civil servants.
