West Nusa Tenggara Investment Reaches Rp54.5 Trillion in 2024, Doubling Target

The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) One-Stop Investment and Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP) recorded that investment realisation throughout 2024 reached Rp54.5 trillion, representing 202 per cent of the Rp26.9 trillion target set by the Ministry of Investment (BKPM).

The Rp54.5 trillion in investment absorbed 15,590 Indonesian workers, whilst 221 foreign workers were also recorded as employed in the province.

The mining, energy and mineral resources (ESDM) sector recorded the highest investment realisation in 2024, reaching Rp37.9 trillion, comprising Rp30.2 trillion in domestic investment (PMDN) and Rp7.6 trillion in foreign investment (PMA).

This was followed by the industrial sector at Rp10.03 trillion, consisting of Rp9.8 trillion in domestic investment and Rp182.9 billion in foreign investment.

The tourism and creative economy sector came next at Rp4.07 trillion, comprising Rp1.3 trillion in domestic investment and Rp2.6 trillion in foreign investment.

The trade sector recorded Rp1.3 trillion in investment, consisting of Rp1.2 trillion in domestic investment and Rp144.2 billion in foreign investment.

Other sectors included transportation at Rp267.2 billion, labour at Rp280.1 billion, maritime affairs and fisheries at Rp274.1 billion, public works at Rp164.5 billion, and livestock, agriculture and plantations at Rp53.6 billion.
