West Lombok Regent's Office Sealed After KPK Sting Operation

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has conducted a sting operation (OTT) in West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). During this operation, the KPK arrested West Lombok Regent Lalu Ahmad Zaini. “Correct,” said KPK Deputy Chair Fitroh Rohcahyanto when contacted on Monday (20/7/2026). He has not yet explained who else was caught in the operation besides Ahmad Zaini, nor has he detailed the case that led to the regent’s arrest. The parties caught in the operation are still being held for examination. The KPK has 1x24 hours to determine the legal status of those apprehended in this operation.
