West Lombok Regent Named Corruption Suspect, KPK Seizes Rp9.06 Billion in Evidence

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named West Lombok Regent Lalu Ahmad Zaini a suspect in a case of alleged corruption involving conflicts of interest in the procurement of goods and services, bribery related to procurement, and the receipt of gratuities within the West Lombok Regency Government, West Nusa Tenggara. The suspect designation was made following a sting operation, with investigators also seizing evidence worth approximately Rp9.06 billion as part of the investigation process.
