West Java Wins Overall Title at 2026 Adinata Sharia Awards for Islamic Economy Development

The West Java Provincial Government (Pemprov Jabar) has won the overall title at the 2026 Anugerah Adinata Syariah, held at the Bank Mega Auditorium in Jakarta on Monday (6/7/2026). The prestigious event was organised by the National Committee for Islamic Economy and Finance (KNEKS) in collaboration with CNN Indonesia. The award was presented by former Vice President and the father of Indonesia’s Islamic economy, Ma’ruf Amin, and received directly by West Java Deputy Governor Erwan Setiawan. Out of 14 categories, West Java topped 6, namely Muslim-Friendly Tourism, Sharia Business Incubation, Islamic Economy and Finance Literacy, Regional Action Plan, Islamic Boarding School Economy, and Zakat, Infaq, and Alms. The award was given to the West Java Provincial Government for its active role in developing the Islamic economy and finance. The event also presented Appreciation for Ecosystem Supporting Partners to strategic collaborators. The Anugerah Adinata Syariah 2026 is expected to strengthen synergy between the government, industry players, and the mass media to further promote the importance of Islamic financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia. The event was attended by Chairman of the National Sharia Council Ma’ruf Amin, Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian, Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Maman Abdurrahman, and Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono. After receiving the award, Deputy Governor Erwan stated that the achievement was the result of hard work by all parties in efforts to improve the Islamic economy and finance in West Java. ‘This year we managed to retain the overall champion title at the Anugerah Adinata Syariah. This is the result of hard work from all parties, thank you to the West Java Representative Office of Bank Indonesia, the West Java KDEKS, and others who continue to work together with us to improve the Islamic economy and finance in West Java,’ he said.
