West Java Volunteers Ready to Monitor Prabowo-Gibran Government Policies

A number of volunteers from the former National Campaign Team and Regional Campaign Team (TKN-TKD) Golf Prabowo-Gibran West Java held a silaturahmi and consolidation event in Bandung on Tuesday, 21 April 2026. The event was attended by various volunteer figures to affirm their commitment to monitoring and securing government policies under the leadership of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The meeting was attended by several volunteer figures who were previously involved in the 2024 presidential election victory, including Agus Teddy Sumantri, H. Irwan, Gunadi, Agustin Lumbangaol, and Adhi Dwiari, along with other volunteers. The main agenda of the event was halal bihalal as well as consolidation to strengthen support for government programmes. West Java coordinator of the former TKN Golf, Agus Teddy Sumantri, stated that the volunteers are ready to be reactivated to ensure that government policies run according to their objectives. He affirmed the volunteers’ commitment to helping monitor the implementation of programmes optimally. “We, the volunteers and supporters of Prabowo-Gibran in West Java who were once part of the TKN-TKD Golf West Java, are ready to be reactivated. This is to affirm full commitment to monitoring, securing, and ensuring that government policies run well,” said Agus Teddy Sumantri, former TKN Golf and West Java Coordinator, in a written statement. According to Teddy, the government’s steps in maintaining national economic and energy stability are considered appropriate, including policies to maintain subsidised fuel oil (BBM) prices. He stated that such policies have a direct impact on the sustainability of people’s lives, especially for lower and middle-income groups. In addition, the volunteers also highlighted several government priority programmes such as Free Nutritious Meals, the Red White Cooperative, as well as food and energy self-sufficiency. These programmes are seen as efforts to improve equitable welfare and quality of life for the people. Nevertheless, Teddy emphasised the importance of oversight in policy implementation to keep it transparent and not misused. He stated that volunteers are ready to be at the forefront to ensure that government programmes provide maximum benefits. On that occasion, they also reminded the importance of maintaining national stability amid global challenges. They assessed that economic stability is a key factor in sustaining people’s businesses, including the MSME sector and workforce.
