West Java Secretary Stresses Importance of Statistical Data for Development During SE2026 Enumeration
The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Java Province has resumed enumeration activities for the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026), this time targeting regional officials. On Monday (13/7), SE2026 officers visited West Java Regional Secretary Herman Suryatman at his office in Gedung Sate. The enumeration was conducted in a warm atmosphere by Field Enumeration Officer Luthfi Fajar Arifah and Field Examination Officer Raifa Mukti. The Head of BPS West Java Province, Margaretha Ari Anggorowati, accompanied by BPS West Java Province Statisticians Yuni Anggorowati and Isti Larasati Widiastuty, was also present to witness the process. Following the enumeration, Herman expressed his full support for the implementation of SE2026 in West Java. He called on all residents of West Java to actively participate in the SE2026 data collection. ‘From the 2026 Economic Census, we will compile the best economic data. We will then process it and return it for the benefit of the community,’ he stated. The activity concluded with a documentation photo of the official residence and the placement of an SE2026 sticker, marking that the West Java Regional Secretary had been enumerated. This enumeration demonstrates the West Java Provincial Government’s commitment to supporting SE2026 as a foundation for providing accurate, complete, and reliable economic data. Support from key figures is expected to boost public and business confidence and participation in providing correct data to SE2026 officers.
