West Java Retains Overall Champion Title at 2026 Adinata Syariah Awards

The West Java Provincial Government (Pemprov Jabar) has achieved the title of Overall Champion at the 2026 Anugerah Adinata Syariah Awards, held at the Bank Mega Auditorium, Jakarta, on Monday, 6 July 2026. This achievement was awarded in recognition of the West Java Provincial Government’s commitment to developing Sharia economy and finance within the region.

The award was received directly by the Vice Governor of West Java, Erwan Setiawan, from the Vice President of Indonesia for the 201_–2024 period and the Father of Indonesian Sharia Economy, Ma’ruf Amin.

Out of the 14 competing categories, West Java successfully secured six awards: Muslim-friendly Tourism, Sharia Business Incubation, Sharia Economic and Financial Literacy, Regional Action Plan, Pesantren Economy, and Zakat, Alms, and Charity.

The Vice Governor of West Java, Erwan Setiawan, stated that this achievement is the result of the hard work of all parties involved in the effort to enhance the Sharia economy and finance in West Java. “We were able to defend our title as the overall champion of the Anugerah Adinata Syariah this year. This is certainly the hard work of all parties; my thanks go to the Bank Indonesia West Java Representative, the West Java KDEKS, and others who continue to work alongside us to improve the Sharia economy and finance in West Java,” he said.

The 2026 Anugerah Adinata Syariah Awards are expected to strengthen the synergy between the government, industry players, and the mass media to continue campaigning for the importance of Sharia financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia.
