West Java Residents Can Now Apply for Uninhabitable Home Repairs, Here's How

Residents of West Java can now access the ‘Imah Aing’ feature on the Sapawarga application. This feature can be used to apply for repairs to uninhabitable homes (rutilahu) through the West Java Provincial Government.

Governor Dedi Mulyadi stated that based on social media monitoring, many uninhabitable homes still exist in West Java. However, not all of them have been registered as eligible for rehabilitation assistance from the provincial government. To ensure these homes are properly recorded, residents are encouraged to report their dwellings that require repair. The feature simplifies public access to home improvement assistance.

‘Please utilise this access to resolve various issues of housing inadequacy,’ said KDM in a written statement on Friday (14/8/2026). Residents wishing to apply for home repairs need to prepare several pieces of data to input into the Imah Aing feature, including the identity card (KTP) of the prospective aid recipient, home address and coordinate points, the recipient’s mobile phone number, and photographs of the uninhabitable house (front, left, right, and back views). Home repairs are carried out by the West Java Provincial Government at no cost to the community. Thus, residents can enjoy free home repair assistance. With decent housing, the quality of life for West Java residents is expected to improve.
