According to Dhani, the selection of departure dates will be done during ticket activation from 1 to 12 March 2026. This free Mudik can be joined by residents domiciled in West Java who will travel outside the province. People from outside West Java who wish to Mudik to West Java can also book a free Mudik ticket. Those who have booked will depart on 13, 14 and 15 March 2026 from several locations, such as Leuwipanjang Terminal (Bandung), Cikarang Terminal and the City of Bekasi. A total of 74 buses are provided.
‘The free Mudik programme is intended to help people return home with dignity. It also helps save money for Mudik 2026. In addition, Mudik by bus can reduce the use of private vehicles and thus ease congestion,’ he added. (H-2)
