West Java Provincial Government Launches First Live Job Fair via TikTok

The West Java Provincial Government (Pemprov Jabar) commenced its first live job fair broadcast via the TikTok account of West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi (KDM), @dedimulyadiofficial, on Wednesday (16/9) from Bekasi Regency.

KDM stated that the live job fair service aims to make it easier for the public to find employment without needing to visit physical job fair venues, allowing them to apply from their respective locations.

During the live broadcast on TikTok, KDM provided immediate information regarding companies offering vacancies. He also detailed the number of available positions and the necessary qualifications, such as age, gender, and educational background.

“We will provide information on job vacancies in Bekasi Regency, including the types of roles and the required qualifications,” said KDM on Wednesday (16/9).

Information regarding these job vacancies can also be monitored directly by the public through the website nyarigawe.jabarprov.go.id. Job seekers can also submit their applications through that portal.

In this particular job fair session, vacancies were available ranging from Human Resources (HRD) development officers, finance roles, and junior warehouse managers to company drivers.

The educational background required for these roles ranges from High School (SMA) and Vocational School (SMK) levels. Additionally, some companies do not require prior work experience for applicants.

These live broadcasts are planned to continue every Wednesday at 09:30 WIB. Next week, the live job fair will be held in Depok City.
