Jakarta – The West Java Provincial Government has successfully achieved an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) of the Republic of Indonesia for its Regional Government Financial Report (LKPD) for the 2025 Fiscal Year. This achievement marks the fifteenth consecutive time the province has received the WTP rating. Governor Dedi Mulyadi stated that the WTP reflects the collective and effective performance of the West Java Provincial Government in executing its development plans. The remark was made during a Plenary Session of the West Java Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) for the submission of the BPK Audit Result Report (LHP) at the DPRD Plenary Meeting Room on Wednesday, 3 June 2026. He stressed that the WTP opinion must serve as motivation to improve the quality of development and public services, rather than merely satisfying administrative financial requirements. ‘We hope this WTP is a reflection of the West Java Provincial Government’s effective performance in development. And we hope we are not satisfied only with the WTP, but also with public satisfaction and the quality of development felt by the community,’ said KDM, the governor’s nickname, as quoted on Friday, 5 June 2026. KDM also expressed his gratitude to the West Java DPRD for conducting its oversight function and to all provincial government apparatus involved in regional financial management. ‘I thank the entire ranks of the West Java DPRD, BPK RI and BPK West Java for consistently conducting evaluations, critiques and suggestions for service improvement in West Java Province. Also to all West Java Province employees, from heads of regional apparatus organisations to those who prepare the accountability reports,’ he said. KDM expressed his hope that the BPK would eventually audit not just samples but the entire financial reports of all regional apparatus organisations in West Java to ensure more optimal and comprehensive audit results. He also responded to BPK notes regarding regional expenditure management. According to him, the West Java Provincial Government possesses high optimism to drive development, but the region’s fiscal capacity is also influenced by the realisation of transfers from the central government. ‘In terms of local revenue, targets are relatively achieved. What is not achieved are transfer funds from the central government, particularly the Revenue Sharing Fund,’ he stated.
