West Java Police Investigate Report of Motorcycle Seizure Involving TH
The West Java Regional Police are investigating a report of an alleged motorcycle seizure from several residents, which reportedly involves TH, a suspect in the case of confinement and assault against a woman with the initials YTR (29).
Head of Public Relations for the West Java Police, Senior Commissioner Hendra Rochmawan, stated that the report has been received and investigators are currently gathering evidence, including examining the complainants and witnesses.
"We have received this report. We are currently looking into it, primarily from the statements of the reporting witnesses," Hendra said in Bandung on Thursday.
He mentioned that the alleged seizure is still in the investigation phase to ascertain whether the elements of a criminal offence are met before proceeding to the next stage.
Additionally, investigators are examining CCTV footage that circulated on social media, which shows TH in the Gedung Pakuan area, allegedly intending to meet West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi.
"We are still looking into this because we only confirmed the CCTV footage circulating on social media last night," he said.
Meanwhile, the Director of Women and Children Service and Human Trafficking Crime at the West Java Police, Senior Commissioner Rumi Untari, said that investigators found two new locations during the pre-reconstruction process of the confinement and assault case against YTR.
With this discovery, the number of crime scenes being investigated has increased from four to six. According to Rumi, the case reconstruction is scheduled to take place on Thursday, barring any changes.
