WEST Java Police have deployed a joint team to investigate the case of a security guard found dead in the Jatiluhur Reservoir, Purwakarta. West Java Police Chief Inspector General Pipit Rismanto stated that investigators are currently deepening their inquiry. “I have ordered the West Java Police Criminal Investigation Directorate to conduct a case review based on the temporary investigation results obtained from the crime scene processing,” he said on Wednesday (29/7). He added that the results of the investigative review would serve as evaluation material for the investigators. The West Java Police deployed a joint team to assist the Purwakarta Police in the investigation. “Hopefully the perpetrator will be revealed soon, and we ask for your prayers. We also urge the public not to easily believe unverified information. Conflicting information has the potential to cause misunderstandings,” Pipit stressed. When asked about the alleged injuries on the victim’s body, Pipit stated that investigators were still examining the findings. “Preliminary examination results indicate the victim is suspected to have died before being disposed of in the waters of the Jatiluhur Reservoir. There are suspected injuries caused by impact with a hard object,” he added.
