West Java Police Conduct Reconstruction of Woman's Confinement and Assault Case

The West Java Regional Police (Polda Jabar) conducted a reconstruction of the alleged confinement and severe assault case against a woman in Bandung Regency. The reconstruction took place at the Directorate of Women and Children Protection building in Bandung on Thursday, 2 July 2026. The suspect, Taufik Hidayat, was brought in by officers to re-enact the series of events. The reconstruction aims to match the sequence of events and complete the investigation process. The victim in this case is a 29-year-old woman with the initials YTR.
