West Java Labour Agency Receives 194 Complaints on Religious Holiday Bonus, 157 Companies Reported
A total of 157 companies in West Java have been reported to the Labour and Transmigration Agency (Disnakertrans) over issues related to the Idulfitri 2026 religious holiday bonus (THR). Some companies have been reported for failing to pay the THR entirely, whilst others have either paid it incompletely or failed to comply with regulatory requirements.
Other issues reported to Disnakertrans West Java include late payment of the THR, with funds not yet being disbursed by the companies.
I Gusti Agung Kim Fajar Wiyati Oka, Head of Disnakertrans West Java, stated that by Sunday, 15 March, 157 companies had been reported by 194 complainants regarding the THR. These complaints were filed through poskothr.kemnaker.go.id.
Upon receiving complaints, labour inspectors conduct investigations at the companies to verify the accuracy of the reports submitted by complainants.
Kim Agung revealed that if violations are discovered, companies will be issued an inspection notice as a warning for non-compliance with regulations concerning the payment of religious holiday bonuses.
The warning in the form of a first notice must be remedied within seven days. If, after the issuance of the first notice, the company still fails to pay the THR, a second notice will be issued, which must also be remedied within seven days.
“If after the issuance of the second notice the THR remains unpaid, a recommendation will be issued and forwarded to the local head (governor/mayor/regent) for the imposition of administrative sanctions in the form of fines or restrictions on business activities,” said Kim Agung in a written statement on Tuesday, 17 March 2026.
For information, Disnakertrans West Java opened a THR complaints post on 14 March 2026 and will close it on 27 March 2026. Previously, THR consultation services had been provided from 2 March 2026 until 13 March 2026.
