The West Java Health Department is striving to provide the best services for the community during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr homecoming period. One of the health facilities provided during the homecoming is a minibus-type mobile health service vehicle, which was previously used as the Governor of West Java’s official vehicle.

The Head of the West Java Health Department, Vini Adiani Dewi, stated that the minibus will operate at the KM 57 rest area in Karawang Regency for two days, on 16 and 17 March 2026. It will then be moved to the KM 62 rest area in Karawang Regency on 26 and 27 March 2026.

“Several health services are provided inside the minibus by the health team from Welas Asih Hospital, such as general health checks, heart recordings, ultrasonography (USG) for pregnant women, and electrocardiogram (EKG) for heart examinations,” said Vini in a written statement on Thursday (26/3/2026).

A number of medical equipment is also available, such as an ‘emergency kit’, defibrillator, vital signs monitor, sensory examination set, general examination set, and others. In addition to using the Governor’s official vehicle, the West Java Health Department is also operating another minibus to serve as a mobile health service.

In total, 12 mobile health service units are prepared during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, divided between two locations: the KM 57 and KM 62 rest areas in Karawang. Travellers in need of health treatment can visit the mobile health services at those locations and receive free examinations.
